The Middle Eastern fast-food chain Salt has announced plans to expand into Pakistan, promising to bring its high-quality offerings to South Asia “soon.” This move, confirmed by the company on Wednesday, has already stirred excitement among food lovers in Pakistan.

Salt: A Middle Eastern Success Story
Founded in Qatar in 2005 by Ali Ahmed Buhindi, Salt specializes in premium burgers made with wagyu beef — a luxurious type of meat sourced from Japan’s prized Wagyu cattle. Since its inception, Salt has spread beyond Qatar, opening branches in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, and Hungary.

“Get Ready, Pakistan!”
In an Instagram post accompanied by a teaser image, Salt announced its imminent arrival, stating, “Time to pass the salt, Pakistan! Salt is coming in hot with all the good vibes and flavors to slide right into your cravings.” While specific Pakistani cities were not revealed, fans eagerly await further announcements.

Menu Highlights
Salt’s menu boasts an array of beef burgers, including popular choices like the brisket, truffle, signature, hook, and original sliders. Chicken lovers can look forward to options like the Cheetos, pine chicken, and crispy chicken sliders.

Global Chains Thriving in Pakistan
International fast-food chains have been well-received in Pakistan, with global names like McDonald’s, KFC, and Hardee’s enjoying longstanding success in various cities across the country. Salt’s entry adds to Pakistan’s diverse fast-food landscape, offering locals another unique option to satisfy their cravings.
