U.S. President Donald Trump has once again targeted India while announcing a new trade deal with Pakistan. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated, “We are very busy today at the White House working on trade agreements. I have spoken to the leaders of many countries, all of whom want America to be very happy.” He mentioned an upcoming meeting with a South Korean trade delegation, noting that South Korea currently imposes 25 percent tariffs, but is considering reducing them.
Trump revealed, “We have just signed an agreement with Pakistan, under which both nations will collaborate to develop Pakistan’s vast oil reserves. We are in the process of selecting the oil company that will lead this partnership.” He also made a pointed remark about India, suggesting, “Who knows, maybe one day they (Pakistan) will be selling oil to India.”

He added that other countries are also proposing tariff reductions, which he believes will significantly help reduce the U.S. trade deficit. A full report on these developments is expected to be released at a later date.
