Pakistani-American community leader Shahryar Ali has officially announced his candidacy for Nassau County Legislator, backed by the Republican Party. With a renewed vision and strengthened resolve, Ali re-enters the race after a narrow loss two years ago, determined to serve and uplift the community he calls home.
“Two years ago, we fell short. But defeat taught me something victory never could – the true strength of our community and the power of never giving up,” said Ali in his campaign launch statement.
