The Community Association of Pakistani Americans (CAPA) recognized Rao Kamran Ali, Member of the PA Board at the Texas Medical Board, with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the Pakistan Day Mela in Columbus, Ohio. The event, attended by a large gathering of community members, was a celebration of Pakistan Day and the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in the United States.

Rao Kamran Ali was invited as Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker for the evening by CAPA and his long-time friend, Amjad Baig. The recognition came as a tribute to his decades of professional excellence, public service, and his earlier national honor, the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.

“It was a deeply humbling moment to stand before my community, receive this honor, and be reminded of the bonds that remain strong despite the passage of time,” said Rao Kamran Ali. “Columbus will always hold a special place in my heart, as I once lived here. The love and respect I received on this visit is beyond words.”

Sharing the stage with Shahid Ijaz Sheikh added further significance to the occasion. Following the event, Rao Kamran Ali expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kamran Ali, Tariq Qureshi, Imran Malik, and Rashid Mahmud for their hospitality, memorable dinners, and warm companionship.

The Pakistan Day Mela not only celebrated the heritage and culture of Pakistan but also highlighted the achievements of Pakistani Americans making meaningful contributions across professional and community spheres.
