The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced revised regulations for mobile phone registration, now in effect for all travelers entering the country. As per the updated guidelines, mobile devices must be registered within 120 days of arrival to prevent any service disruptions.

To maintain uninterrupted mobile connectivity, it is now mandatory for incoming travelers to register their mobile phones within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so may result in the blocking of network services for unregistered devices.

The PTA has made the registration process more accessible by enabling self-registration through its Device Registration System (DRS). The system is available online via the official PTA website and is designed to ensure a smooth and hassle-free user experience.

Key Highlights of the New Policy

  • Mandatory Device Registration: All mobile phones brought into Pakistan must be registered within 120 days of entry.
  • Online Registration Platform: The DRS portal allows users to register their devices easily from anywhere.
  • Self-Service Process: Travelers are empowered to complete the registration independently without requiring third-party assistance.

For complete details and to begin the registration process, travelers are advised to visit the PTA Device Registration System through the authority’s official portal.

Ensure continued mobile access and stay connected during your stay in Pakistan.
