The Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) received formal recognition from Fort Bend County Judge K.P. George during a special event celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. This proclamation highlights the vibrant cultural diversity and significant contributions of AANHPI communities throughout the county.

The ceremony gathered community leaders, elected officials, and representatives from numerous cultural groups to honor the accomplishments and heritage of the AANHPI population within Fort Bend County.

Siraj Narsi, President of PAGH, addressed the audience with heartfelt remarks about the important role the Pakistani community plays in enriching the social and economic landscape of Greater Houston. He stressed the need for preserving cultural traditions, promoting community service, and fostering collaboration among diverse groups to build a more unified and inclusive community.

“We are deeply honored to stand alongside other distinguished Asian American communities today,” said Narsi. “This celebration is a powerful reminder of the unity and strength that come from sharing our unique cultures and stories.”
