New York City Mayor Eric Adams attended a special Town Hall meeting organized by the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society (PALS), where he addressed members of the Pakistani-American community and expressed his deep appreciation for the contributions of Pakistani-American law enforcement professionals.

Held in a spirit of dialogue and community engagement, the event brought together public officials, community leaders, and residents to discuss shared goals around public safety, inclusion, and civic responsibility. Mayor Adams emphasized the crucial role that Pakistani-American officers play in strengthening the city’s police force and building trust across neighborhoods.

“It was an honor to meet with the members of the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society during their town hall,” said Mayor Adams. “These dedicated public servants work every day to make our communities safer for all New Yorkers. I am truly grateful for their service and proud to stand with them.”
The Mayor also highlighted the importance of diversity within law enforcement and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting communities of all backgrounds through transparency, accessibility, and proactive engagement.

Members of the PALS leadership team welcomed the Mayor’s visit, noting that such events help bridge gaps between city leadership and minority communities, particularly those with strong cultural and professional ties to the city.
The Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society continues to play a pivotal role in representing Pakistani-origin professionals in law enforcement, while also fostering partnerships with civic and governmental bodies to improve community well-being.
