Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has directed NADRA to immediately identify those involved in the recent attack on former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle in London. He condemned the incident, calling it “distressing,” and ordered the use of video footage to identify the assailants.
Legal Actions and Identity Block
According to Express News, Naqvi has instructed that legal proceedings, including filing FIRs in Pakistan, be initiated against the attackers. The measures will also include blocking the suspects’ identification cards and revoking their passports. He emphasized that swift action would be taken regarding the assailants’ citizenship, with cases to be presented to the cabinet for approval.

Concerns Over Security
Naqvi stated, “Such attacks cannot be tolerated,” and expressed concerns over the lack of security provided to Isa, noting a similar incident at the Pakistani High Commission in London.
Former CJP Isa’s Recent Departure
Justice Isa recently completed his term on the Supreme Court bench, stepping down last Thursday. His departure included standard security protocols, and he was accompanied by assigned protocol staff.
