On Wednesday, Vivian took to Meta’s Threads platform to share her thoughts. “I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me,” she wrote. “I don’t see my future being in the United States.”
She continued, reflecting on the implications of Trump’s victory, saying, “Even if he’s only in office for four years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon.”
Musk Responds, Reiterates “Woke Mind Virus” Claim
After Vivian’s announcement, Elon Musk responded via X (formerly Twitter), reiterating his controversial claim that “the woke mind killed my son.” Vivian, in turn, shared a screenshot of her father’s post on Threads and sarcastically commented, “So, you’re still going with the sob-story about how ‘woe is me, my child was infected by something-or-other…'” She dismissed Musk’s narrative, calling it “tired,” “overdone,” and “cliché.”
Vivian went on to criticize her father’s victim mentality, saying, “I’m just bored honestly, like is this really the best you could come up with?”

In a follow-up post, Vivian accused her father of being upset because he had lost control over her life choices. “You’re upset because at the end of the day everyone around you knows you as a delusional and grubby little control freak who hasn’t matured as a person for 38 years,” she wrote. “However, last time I checked that’s not my fucking problem.”
