The Pakistani-American community in St. Louis commemorated Pakistan’s Independence Day with a vibrant cultural celebration and an Autism Awareness Walk, highlighting both national pride and a commitment to community service. Karim noted that this year’s Independence Day held special meaning, coinciding with the commemoration of Marka-e-Haq — a tribute to the valiant Armed Forces of Pakistan and the steadfast spirit of the nation. He also praised the Pakistani-American community for its vital contributions to the socio-economic development of both Pakistan and the United States, while commending the initiative to include an Autism Awareness Walk. He extended special appreciation to Aysha Khalid and the organizing team for their dedication.

Encouraging the diaspora to renew their commitment to Pakistan, Karim called on community members to remain active in strengthening Pakistan–U.S. relations.

Among the dignitaries present was Mayor Mike Clement of Manchester, who acknowledged the positive role of the Pakistani-American community in fostering cultural diversity and civic engagement.
