Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh welcomed Dr. Mohsin Ansari, President of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), an influential Muslim diaspora organization in the United States, in a meeting today. He commended ICNA’s valuable contributions to the American people and praised its support for Pakistan, especially during the 2022 super floods.
The discussion focused on enhancing and expanding cooperation between ICNA and Pakistan, with both leaders affirming their commitment to continued collaboration for the benefit of both Pakistanis and Americans.
In another significant engagement, Ambassador Sheikh held a phone conversation with Congressman Jim McGovern and Congresswoman Susan Wild to discuss strengthening Pak-US bilateral relations, shared democratic values, and human rights. Both sides agreed to maintain ongoing dialogue and explore opportunities for deepening the long-standing ties between Pakistan and the United States.
