A community forum focused on child safety and public education will soon bring together parents, students, teachers, and local leaders for an evening of discussion and awareness. The event is being organized by Moms for Public Education.
Judges Sonia Rash and Julie Mathew will headline the program as featured speakers. They will be joined by a panel of local experts who will address a wide range of topics, including mental health and suicide prevention, gun safety, protections for transgender children, special education concerns, child abuse prevention, traffic safety, and responsible internet and smartphone use.
Organizers say the goal is to create an open space where families, educators, and community advocates can share experiences and develop strategies for protecting children both in schools and neighborhoods.
“Moms for Public Education” emphasized that safeguarding children requires collaboration and shared responsibility, encouraging community members to work together for a safer future.
The event is open to the public, and community members across Houston are being urged to attend and take part in what organizers describe as a “vital movement” to protect and nurture children.
