The Consulate General of Pakistan in Houston organized a seminar to observe the 6th Youm-e-Istehsal, marking six years since India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
Consul General Aftab Choudhary attended the event along with community leaders, activists, and civil society members. Messages from Pakistan’s leadership were read out, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of IIOJK.
Speakers at the seminar condemned ongoing human rights violations by India in the occupied territory and expressed unflinching solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the right to self-determination.
Earlier, a one-minute silence was observed to honor the sacrifices of the people of IIOJK and to express solidarity with their cause.
