Community Connector is a new microtransit service launched through a partnership between METRO, the City of Houston, and Evolve Houston. Designed to respond to neighborhood transit needs, the service helps connect riders from their starting point to fixed-route transit or hard-to-reach destinations.
Easy, On-Demand Rides with Electric Vehicles
This eco-friendly service operates within specific zones using electric vehicles. Rides can be requested through the Ride Circuit app, allowing passengers to travel anywhere within the defined coverage area.
Free Rides in Select Areas
Currently, the service is offered free of charge in the following communities:
- Downtown
- Heights
- Near Northside
- Second Ward
- Third Ward
Service Zone Maps
Interactive service area maps are available to show defined zones, nearby transit centers, and routes that connect with the Community Connector.
Operating Schedule
Service is available Monday through Friday, with zone-specific operating hours. To ensure availability, the final ride request must be made at least 30 minutes before closing time.
