The city of Los Angeles came alive with patriotic fervor as the Pakistani Consulate and local community commemorated Youm-e-Tashakur (Day of Gratitude) with a vibrant series of events honoring Pakistan’s Armed Forces and the resilience of its people.

The day began with a dignified flag hoisting ceremony at Pakistan House, where the green and white flag was raised high to the tune of the national anthem, symbolizing pride, unity, and unwavering sovereignty.

Consul General addressed the gathering, declaring: “Pakistan’s defence is impregnable—we stand strong, proud, and united.”

A ceremonial cake cutting was held at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Los Angeles, where officials and guests celebrated the nation’s firm and mature response to foreign aggression. The event reflected gratitude, pride, and a renewed commitment to national strength and unity.

In a bold display of diaspora pride, a colorful car rally rolled through Los Angeles, with vehicles decked in Pakistani flags and slogans. National songs echoed through the streets as participants cheered, waved flags, and celebrated Pakistan’s strength.

“This is our way of saying: We stand with Pakistan — always and everywhere,” said one proud participant.

Across Los Angeles and beyond, special prayers were offered in mosques for Pakistan’s continued peace, strength, and prosperity. The community united in faith and hope for a brighter, safer future.
