Australia triumphed over Pakistan by 13 runs in the second T20I, taking a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Pakistan was bowled out for 134 runs while chasing a target of 148.

In the match held in Sydney, Australia batted first and amassed 147 runs, losing 9 wickets in their 20 overs. The Pakistani side opened their innings with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, but this strategy backfired as Babar was dismissed for just 3 runs in the second over.

Sahibzada Farhan, who was selected based on his domestic performance, continued to struggle, scoring only 5 runs. Captain Mohammad Rizwan managed only 16 runs off 26 balls, and vice-captain Salman Ali Agha was dismissed without scoring on his first ball. Abbas Afridi contributed 4 runs, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sufian Moqim failed to score.

For Australia, Spencer Johnson claimed 3 wickets, and Xavier Bartlett secured one. Australian captain Josh Inglis won the toss and opted to bat first. Jack Fraser-McGurk and Matthew Short started aggressively, scoring 21 runs off Shaheen Afridi in the first over and finishing with 48 runs. Haris Rauf alleviated Pakistan’s struggles by taking out Fraser-McGurk for 20 and Inglis for a duck in the fourth over.
