Donald Trump’s recent stop at a McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, has ignited controversy on social media, with critics accusing the event of being “staged” and “fake.” The former president was seen working the fry station and serving drive-thru customers as part of his campaign in Bucks County, a key swing voter region in Pennsylvania.

Allegations of a Staged Event

Shortly after the visit, images of a circular posted outside the McDonald’s began circulating online. The notice stated that the branch was closed on October 20, 2024, at Trump’s request. One user, Ron Filipkowski, shared the image on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “So the place wasn’t even open. It was all staged and fake. He didn’t work for real at a McDonald’s. It was a staged fraud just like every other event.”

McDonald’s Circular and Campaign Explanation

The circular posted by McDonald’s clarified that while the restaurant was closed for the day, it was done at the request of Trump and his campaign team. The note emphasized that, although McDonald’s is not a political organization, the visit aimed to highlight the positive impact of small businesses. “We proudly open our doors to everyone… this visit provides a unique opportunity to shine a light on small businesses,” the statement read.

Rehearsed Cars and Drivers Raise More Doubts

Further fueling skepticism, social media users also shared images of cars and drivers reportedly rehearsing ahead of Trump’s arrival. These photos added to the growing belief that the event was orchestrated for campaign purposes, leading many to question its authenticity.
