The Pakistani American Community Organization Long Island (PACOLI), the largest Pakistani American community organization in the United States, held a historic Oath-Taking Ceremony for its newly elected body, alongside a vibrant celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day.

Founding Leader Administers the Oath
The ceremony was led by Basheer Qamar, fondly known as the Baba-e-Community, who has dedicated more than four decades of service to the community. As PACOLI’s founder, he proudly administered the oath to the new leadership team, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s journey.

Youth Wing Launched for the First Time
In one of the largest boards in PACOLI’s history, the event also featured the launch of PACOLI’s Youth Wing—a dynamic platform designed to bring fresh perspectives, youthful energy, and innovative initiatives to the community.
Expanding Across the United States
With the blessings of Allah, PACOLI is preparing to establish chapters in major U.S. states, further strengthening its presence and outreach. Just as the sky has no limits, neither does PACOLI’s vision for community service.

Commitment to Harmony and Service
The evening reaffirmed PACOLI’s mission to promote harmony, love, and peace, while continuing to serve both the Pakistani American community in the United States and the beloved homeland, Pakistan.
