The Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society (PALS), together with community members, gathered at Queens’ Diversity Plaza for a solemn candlelight vigil in memory of the victims of the catastrophic floods in Pakistan.
Honoring the Victims
Participants came together to mourn the profound loss of life and express their deepest condolences to families affected by the disaster.
Humanitarian Tragedy
The floods have caused an immense human toll, with countless fatalities, many individuals still unaccounted for, and massive destruction to livelihoods, livestock, and homes across affected regions.
Through this vigil, PALS and the Pakistani American community reaffirmed their solidarity with the people of Pakistan and their commitment to raising awareness and support for relief efforts.
