Mr. Faisal Naseem, President of the Angolhitheemu Council of RAA Atoll, met with H.E. Vice Admiral (R) Faisal Rasul Lodhi, High Commissioner of Pakistan to the Maldives, earlier today. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Muhammad Kamran, Deputy Head of Mission.
Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, particularly capacity building and socio-economic development for the Angolhitheemu community.
The High Commissioner highlighted the historic and brotherly ties between Pakistan and the Maldives, noting that relations between the two nations continue to grow stronger. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to extending all possible support to the Maldivian people on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
