The Consulate General of Pakistan in New York, in collaboration with the Brilliance Foundation (New Jersey), hosted a forward-looking workshop titled “The Future of Artificial Intelligence” at the Consulate’s premises. The event convened top professionals from Microsoft, Deloitte, Wall Street, and the healthcare industry to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping our world and influencing the future of work, healthcare, governance, and education.
The workshop drew a strong turnout from the Pakistani-American community, including students, professionals, and entrepreneurs. A major highlight was the focus on equipping women particularly from the tri-state area—with knowledge and skills to use AI tools and digital platforms for launching and managing virtual businesses.

In his remarks, Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai spoke about Pakistan’s untapped potential in the global tech landscape.
“Pakistan is a country of innovation, talent, and perseverance,” Atozai said. “Our diaspora has consistently shown that with access to the right tools and opportunities, they can compete and lead on the global stage.”
He stressed the significance of such workshops in closing the digital divide and helping communities stay informed and future-ready.

Atozai also emphasized the Consulate’s dedication to promoting learning, innovation, and inclusive economic development.
“We’re proud to work with community-based organizations like the Brilliance Foundation to support future leaders, especially women and underrepresented groups in tech,” he added.
